Dojran

Dojran is a lake with an area of 43.1 km² shared between the Republic of Macedonia (27.3 km²) and Greece (15.8 km²).

Kumanovo

Kumanovo. Every year Kumanovo has a “Days of Comedy” festival, sponsored by the Macedonian Ministry of Culture, featuring comedies from several Macedonian theatres and also from neighbouring Serbia and Bulgaria. Kumanovo municipality was organizing the manifestation “City of Culture 2006”.

Skopje

Skopje. Being the capital of the Republic of Macedonia, Skopje is home to the largest cultural institutions of the country, such as the National and University Library "St. Kliment of Ohrid", the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the National Theatre, the National Philarmonic Orchestra and the Macedonian Opera and Ballet.

Veles

Veles is a city of poetry, culture, history and tradition, as well as a town with plentiful and precious cultural heritage and centuries old churches.

Galičnik

Galičnik has well preserved traditional architecture, including an amphitheater in the village square, and is famous for its surrounding countryside and nature reserve. People from Galičnik and northwestern Macedonia appreciate the local yellow cheese kaškaval(Kashkaval) that is produced in the region as well as the local salt brine white cheese "belo sirenje" which is homemade speciality for this region.

Bitola

Bitola is one of the oldest cities on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia. It was founded as Heraclea Lyncestis in the middle of the 4th century BC by Philip II of Macedon. During the Ottoman rule the city was the last capital of Ottoman Rumelia.

Ohrid

Ohrid is a city in the Republic of Macedonia and the seat of Ohrid Municipality. It is the largest city on Lake Ohrid .Lake Ohrid it is one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes, preserving a unique aquatic ecosystem that is of worldwide importance, with more than 200 endemic species.[

Kaliopi

Kaliopi is a Macedonian singer-songwriter. In her career, Kaliopi has progressed from singing lead vocal with her eponymous band in 1980s Yugoslavia to being an established vocalist and composer working in Macedonia and across former Yugoslavia.

Tamara Todeska

Tamara Todeska . She was raised in a musical family. Her father Velko Todevski is a professor in a music school and her mum Branka Todevska (Serbian origin) an opera singer. Tamara got the talent from her mum, because her colour of the voice is very similar to her mum and she has a very deep opera voice.

Vlatko Stefanovski

Vlatko Stefanovski is a Macedonian ethno-rock jazz fusion guitar player.

Igor Dzambazov

Igor Džambazov was born in Skopje in a family of actors and musicians. His grandfather Petre Prličko was a celebrated actor and his father Aleksandar Džambazov is a conductor and composer. In his autobiography Тоа сум јас ('That's Me') he states that the first music he had ever heard was his father's schlagers and at first he thought that it was the only music in the world, but later he figured out the con and started listening something modern.

Esma Redžepova Teodosievska

Esma Redžepova Teodosievska is a Macedonian-Romani vocalist, songwriter, and humanitarian. Because of her prolific repertoire, which includes hundreds of songs, and because of her contribution to Roma culture and its promotion, she is nicknamed Queen of the Gypsies.

Stole Popov

Stole Popov . He is currently a film directing professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje and chief of Film Directing Studies. Also, he is a member of the European Film Academy since 1997. Stole Popov has won over 50 high European and World Awards and significant recognitions.

Milco Mancevski

Milco Mancevski is a Macedonian-born, New York-based Academy award-nominated writer-director, photographer and artist.

Superhiks

Superhiks is a Macedonian ska-punk and reggae band with occasional swing, Latin and Balkan folk music elements from Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. They gained international prominence after appearing on MTV France, MTV Israel and MTV Adria. They were also the first Macedonian band to get on the top chart of MTV Adria.

Darko Pancev

Darko Pancev is a retired Macedonian footballer and winner of the Golden Boot award in 1991.

Toni Mihajlovski

Toni Mihajlovski is a Macedonian theater, motion picture and television actor, stand up comedian, presenter and showman.

Duke Bojadziev

Duke Bojadziev is music composer for motion picture, record producer and pianist. Among his credentials are working alongside oscar-winning film directors Jonathan Demme and Danis Tanovic, as well as oscar-nominee Stole Popov.

Simon Trpcevski

Simon Trpcevski. Macedonian pianist Simon Trpčeski has established himself as one of the most remarkable musicians to have emerged in recent years, performing with many of the world’s greatest orchestras and captivating audiences worldwide.

Jelena Jovanova

Jelena Jovanova has been featured in Angelina Jolie's debut-film, In The Land Of Blood And Honey (2011), being the youngest actress from Macedonia, to get involved in a Hollywood production film.

Ferus Mustafov, also known as King Ferus Mustafov, is a Macedonian saxophonist of Romani descent. He is also credited as one of the artists from the Balkan region to have made this type of music internationally popular.

Kire Lazarov

Kire Lazarov is a Macedonian handball player who currently plays for Barcelona Handbol. He is also the captain of the Macedonia national handball team.

Toni Kitanovski

Toni Kitanovski is a Macedonian jazz guitarist. Toni started his musical education with Dragan Gjakonovski - Spato in 1979. From 1986 till 1990 he was the leader of the trio “Spato”, performing numerous concerts, radio and TV appearances as a trio as well as many solo performances. Composes / arranges concerts for the MBUC chamber orchestra, music for the dance orchestra of MRT. Records soloist materials for WDR in Cologne, Germany.

Tavče gravče

Turlitava

The Arabati Baba Tekḱe is a tekḱe located in Tetovo, Republic of Macedonia. The tekke was originally built in 1538 around the türbe of Sersem Ali Baba, an Ottoman dervish. In 1799, a waqf provided by Recep Paşa established the current grounds of the tekkie. The finest surviving Bektashi monastery in Europe, the sprawling complex features flowered lawns, prayer rooms, dining halls, lodgings and a great marble fountain inside a wooden pavilion.
